1964年製、Fender Stratocaster
20代半ばに出会ってしまったヴィンテージストラト
購入から毎月の返済の為によく働いたなぁ…
赤好きなんでフェスタでもダコタでもOKやったけど、キャンディーアップルレッドは比較的数が多いので入手できたんでしょうね
とはいえ、カスタムカラーなんでやっぱねぇ…
購入時は奇麗やったのに、いつの間にかこんなになりました…
トップクリアが弱ってやらかい状態です
雑には扱わないけど、使用方法も保管も気をつけなあきませんね〜
トラジショナルロゴにクレイドットという過渡期のネックと、そしてボディ内部はボッコボコ…
シールディングはオリジナルですがピックガードとコントロールノブは交換してあります
オリジナルアームは残してますが実用のんはオリジナルではないGotoh製の現行品
オリジナルKluson Double Lineペグは色んな方法を試しに試したんですけど、1回のチョーキングとアームヴィブラートやるだけでチューニングが一切合いまへ〜ん…
オリジナルは残してGotoh製SD91に交換
ペグの他にも、CRL製オリジナルセレクタースイッチ(3 Way)も残したまま現行品のCRL製5Wayに交換してます
ブリッジピックアップもTONEが効くように配線を変えてます
ピックアップデイトは1965年の1月29日なんで交換されたか?又は憶測ですがネックデータから考えて一致してるのか?
配線材が付け足してあるのでブリッジ側からネック側にスライドさせてブリッジP.Uを追加した可能性も否めません
ポットはStackpole製でDATAが3046501で統一されてる事からあながち間違いでもないし、伝送部と杢部をガッチャンのフランケンか?CBS買収前後のFenderによくある日付のずれたオリジナルかのどちらか?でしょう
まぁそれがに何か問題でも?的に、トータルで何も気にならない素晴らしいストラトです!!
1964年後期にしては薄めの不思議なシェイプのネックやけど、手にはスッキリ馴染む若干非対称なネックシェイプです
Pre-CBSは定まった方法はないし、何人もの職人で作るんでこの時はこうってセオリーはナンセンス
ヴィンテージでしか出せない、音の奥にザラッとしたアクセントのある素晴らしいストラトサウンドです!!
生涯の相棒の1本です!!
